mumbai day 5 (final day in mumbai)
October 29th 2010, mumbai international airport 09.46; london time--not really sure...about 4.00 in the morning.
Breakfast = juice and banana (again!)
i've really been looking forward to telling you about the past few hours...
i'm a changed person.
after roughly one hundred and twenty-something hours of sharing my life with very awesome people (!) I think I can genuinely say I have been changed for good.
as we prepare to return to London, Biju from Vision Rescue stands & thanks us again --really we have received more than we have given. Vision Rescue has shared everything with us. it was a morning of final conversations, good byes, thank yous, blessings & contemplation.
I’ll never think of generosity the same way. More than ever I now know it is an attitude and a way of life not what one has or gives. I’ll never think of sacrifice the same way-- it’s not what you give up but how available your heart is.
I want a life that makes a difference and reaches beyond me.
My biggest lesson = not to over-complicate this.
It is incredibly easy to do--just step into someone else's life for the better!
We've come to the end of my india bloggie. i don't want it to end...thank u so much for being part of this journey with me. I really hope it doesn't end here for u & that u'll enjoy ur everyday life & make someone else's life as enjoyable as yours...!
Check out: Vision Rescue !
thanks again & bye for now...
i couldn't think of any other way to end this but with images from a tuk tuk race... we all got up super early on friday (last day) morning hopped on a tuk tuk (small car) @ 7.30 am. & i'm glad to say my team won... yes!!!

--- team number 1 (the winning team really!!!)
--- team number two (great sportsman & women...good effort!!!)
--- off to a good start!
- picking up speed as we cheer on our tuk tuk driver!!!
--- getting close (tense moment)! but team number 1 still in the lead...
--- coming round the bend, we can see the finishing line---almost there!
--- maintaining speed in the lead
--- and yes say hello to the winning team !!!
